The Opportunity:
As a CACI-Mission & Engineering Services (M&ES) Sensitive Activities (SA) Space Planner, you will facilitate and coordinate all aspects of operational level planning, synchronization, and integration for U.S. Space Forces as it relates to US Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). You will develop and maintain an outreach strategy to ensure operational capabilities are properly nested within other USSOUTHCOM component’s planning efforts and integrate space capabilities into USSOUTHCOM’s Sensitive Activity Portfolio.
Responsibilities:
The SA Space Planner will support and coordinate within the Joint Space Enterprise, functional and service component operations centers, national government agencies, mission partners, and additional world-wide data sources, and collaborate within the space domain. The SA Space Planner may maintain a Community of Interest (COI) with all Department of War (DoW) entities within the USSOUTHCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) focused on space capabilities and their support to the Joint fight, ensuring continuity of space effects and capabilities support. The SA Space Planner will proactively seek out, identify, plan for, propose, and integrate operational capabilities in support of USSOUTHCOM Operational Area of Interest (OAIs). Additionally, the SA Space Planner will communicate with senior stakeholders – and may produce – clear technical space related briefings,
memorandums, and plans.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300-$189,600
