The Business Analyst in the OpsTech team will play a crucial role in enhancing operational support and system capabilities for Continuing Education and Training (CET) programs and schools. This role involves analysing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimise system usage and improve effectiveness and support both ongoing Training Management System operations.[What you will be working on]
Nanyang Polytechnic is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior/Lead Executive (Business Analyst) to join our Centre for Industry & Lifelong Learning (CIL3).
Job Responsibilities
* Provide better support to schools and CET institutes on TMS to optimise system usage and improve effectiveness.
* Provide Level 1 support to address user issues, troubleshoot, and coordinate with vendors to resolve system problems
* Accelerate change requests and drive enhancements in STEP to better support CET operations and ensure a more responsive system.
* Conduct impact analysis on service requests for data patches or change requests.
* Assisted in execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, coordinating with end-users, and taking charge of issue resolution
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., academic schools, marketing, IT) and external partners (e.g., industry representatives) to understand needs, define requirements, and translate them into practical solutions.
* Enhance end-to-end course administration support, including course setup, to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
* Work closely with both academic and non-academic staff to ensure smooth management of courses.
* Provide general administrative support for the department and maintain proper documentation

Job Qualifications
*Qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Proven years of relevant experience in business analysis, project management, or related field, preferably within the education sector, public sector, or a similar environment focused on lifelong learning.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Knowledge of the Singapore education landscape and lifelong learning initiatives will be an advantage.
