Shifft4 is expanding globally and we are adding to our teams, seeking a Senior Workday Reporting & Analytics Analyst to drive the design, development, optimization, and delivery of Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will be a technical expert in Workday reporting capabilities, including calculated fields and Workday Prism Analytics, and will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and cross-functional partners to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions. This individual will be central to advancing self-service reporting, improving data quality, and enabling HR and business leaders with actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain Workday reports using standard and advanced reporting tools (Matrix, Composite, Trending, etc.) and calculated fields to meet operational and strategic needs.
  • Develop and optimize Workday dashboards, Discovery Boards, and visual analytics that support managers, HR partners, and leadership.
  • Lead requirements gathering with HR stakeholders, translating business needs into efficient, scalable reporting solutions.
  • Build and maintain Workday Prism data models that integrate multiple sources and enhance reporting capability.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve issues with existing reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Finance, and other teams to surface analytics needs, prioritize deliverables, and support data governance.
  • Support testing, validation, and enhancement activities for Workday releases and new module rollouts.
  • Document reporting logic, data models, user guides, and best practices; create job aids and training materials to increase self-service adoption.
  • Assist in defining reporting standards and governance frameworks to ensure consistency across the enterprise.
  • Collaborate on HR process improvement, identifying opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve data flows.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HRIS, Data Analytics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday reporting and analytics, including hands-on design of complex reports and dashboards.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting tools, including advanced reporting and calculated fields.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Certification(s), especially in Reporting or Prism.
  • Experience working with Workday Prism Analytics and multi-source data models.
  • Experience with HR data governance, KPI definition, and reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with Workday Security roles and access structures.
  • Prior experience in HR/People Analytics context or large global organizations.

Over time, this role will help define reporting best practices, drive process efficiency, and contribute to strategic workforce analytics initiatives that shape decision-making across the company.
