Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Weigh and dispense chemicals for bulk product as defined in the Master Batch Record and by procedures defined in company SOP's.

  • Complete paperwork related to the dispensing of chemicals according to both SOP's and cGMP's.

  • Clean equipment and facilities as defined in company SOP's and cGMP's.

  • Assist in the training and development of less experienced technicians as assigned by the Compounding Supervisor.

  • Perform inventory transactions (LN database) at the completion of weighing and at the completion of processing

  • Coordinate movement of raw materials to support weighing/processing schedule.

  • Lead small groups of less experienced technicians in the weigh room.

  • Assist in leading Weigh Room personnel in accordance with DPTs guidelines and policies.

  • Assist Compounding Supervisor with the daily activities of the shift and assignment of personnel.

  • Perform workmanship, 5s and Area audits as required.

  • Assist weigh master and supervisor in process investigations and internal audits.

  • Handle and move raw materials to prepare for weighing of batch; storage and or transfer to the plant facility.

  • Set up, operate and monitor functionality of equipment (including scales) used in weigh room/compounding department.

  • Maintain accurate records, i.e. Logbooks, raw material batch records, and checks production batch/record for accuracy.

  • Completes all documentation clearly and legibly according to SOP.

  • Ability to effectively train other weigh room technicians on company policies and procedures.

  • DEA Controlled Substance handling/keying authorization.

  • Understands and utilizes the QIS database in the performance of job duties.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

  • 6-10 years of related experience is required.
