In the role of Senior Frontend Engineer in the Jabra Hearing Engineering team, you will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer. You will design and build high-quality, user-centric web applications that support digital hearing care solutions used by customers globally.
You will be responsible for frontend experiences from end to end—translating product ideas and design concepts into scalable, accessible, and responsive interfaces.

You will join a cross-functional product team working closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering. Together, the team delivers digital experiences that combine usability, performance, and innovation.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
• Design and develop responsive, scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies
• Translate design concepts and wireframes into high-quality, production-ready code
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Architect frontend solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Ensure high standards for accessibility, usability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
• Improve application reliability through unit and end-to-end testing
• Contribute to technical documentation and frontend best practices
• Act as a binding link between creative, product, and technical teams.
To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:
• Have a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Have solid experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Are comfortable working with Node.js and API integrations
• Understand responsive design, performance optimization, and accessibility principles
• Have experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend systems
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Enjoy translating complex requirements into simple, elegant solutions
• Thrive in an Agile environment and be accountable for your contributions
• It is beneficial to have experience with GraphQL, AWS, Shopify, or CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
For this role, we work closely with teams in the United States, which may require some flexibility in working hours to ensure effective overlap.
