Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic, Digital Experience Platform Specialist to join our MarTech team. This role owns the platforms that power our digital experience, including the corporate website and associated content and asset systems.

You will be responsible for operating the website as a scalable, integrated platform that supports conversion, personalization, and brand consistency across the marketing stack.

This role also serves as the primary platform owner for the website/AEM, overseeing system administration, release management, and quality assurance. You are the final gatekeeper for platform health, ensuring deployments are stable, configurations are correct, and the CMS and asset systems remain clean, governed, and scalable for global teams.

The Ecosystem: How You Will Work

As a Web & Digital Assets Platform Manager in the MarTech organization, you will sit at the center of a collaborative hub:

  • With Marketing & Growth: You will partner with functional leads from Marketing Operations and Digital Technology teams to understand business needs & goals and to translate them into web /platform and assets capabilities.

  • With Engineering & UX: You will partner with a dedicated squad of developers and designers, managing the backlog and defining the "What" and "Why" behind every feature. Including CMS components and digital asset workflows

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap: Own the end-to-end digital experience and asset platform lifecycle (web, CMS, DAM, from discovery and definition to launch and post-launch optimization.

  • System Administration: Serve as the primary admin for our CMS (e.g., AEM, Contentful, Strapi) and integrated MarTech tools. Manage user permissions, plugin/integration health, and global site settings. Ownership of digital asset systems (DAM) including structure, taxonomy, permissions, and integrations. With admin ownership across CMS + DAM + activation touchpoints

  • Governance: Collaborate with Governance Center of Excellence to establish and enforce workflows for content creators to ensure site consistency and technical performance.

  • End-to-End Testing: Lead the Quality Assurance process for all new features, bug fixes, and integrations. Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser/mobile testing.

  • Release Orchestration: Manage the deployment pipeline. Coordinate with developers to schedule releases, manage "code freezes" during high-traffic marketing events, and execute roll-back plans if necessary.

  • Post-Launch Monitoring: Monitor site health post-release using tools like Sentry, LogRocket, or GA4 to identify and resolve immediate issues.

  • Data Integrity: Ensure that tracking pixels, GTM tags, and API connections between the web and our CRM (Salesforce) are functioning correctly.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for marketing leadership, providing transparency into the roadmap and prioritizing requests based on business impact.

Technical & Functional Requirements

  • Product & Platform Management Toolkit: Deep experience with Agile methodologies, writing user stories, and managing backlogs.

  • CMS & DAM Proficiency: Advanced experience managing enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Assets Prime, Dynamic Media) and digital asset management systems, including structure, taxonomy, permissions, and governance.

  • Web & Platform Fundamentals Strong understanding of CMS architectures, asset delivery, APIs, HTML/CSS basics, and modern web platform operations.

  • UX/UI Sensitivity: Ability to collaborate with designers to create intuitive, mobile-first user interfaces and accessibility optimizations.

  • Release & Quality Ownership: Proven experience owning QA, release readiness, deployment coordination, and rollback planning for web and asset platforms.

Soft Skills for the MarTech Team

  • Platform-First Thinking: Oriented toward building reusable systems, not one-off solutions.

  • Operational Discipline: High attention to detail around configuration, permissions, and release quality.

  • Clear Boundary Management: Comfortable redirecting requests that belong in campaign execution, analytics, or MarTech operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience: 5+ years owning web and digital asset platforms (CMS, DAM) in a B2B or enterprise environment.

  • Track Record: Demonstrated success improving platform stability, reuse, and speed-to-activation.

  • QA & Release Discipline: Hands-on experience with staging/production environments and release governance.

  • Communication: Ability to clearly explain platform tradeoffs and standards to non-technical stakeholders.
