In This Role

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud-based services that support critical business systems. You will work closely with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected solutions, ensuring performance, security, and reliability across the full development lifecycle. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on development, and the ability to independently deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, document, implement, and maintain complex web applications and cloud services based on business requirements

  • Build and maintain cloud-based services, including application and web services, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system design, architecture diagrams, monitoring strategies, and design rationale

  • Monitor system capacity and performance; design and implement scaling strategies as needed

  • Evaluate requests for new features and enhancements, assessing feasibility, cost, timelines, and compatibility with existing systems

  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architecture/design discussions

  • Write and execute test cases; identify, log, and resolve defects

  • Ensure all code, architecture, and implementations meet security and compliance requirements

  • Leverage AI-based tools and solutions to improve development efficiency, code quality, and test coverage

  • Execute assigned work items and project plans within an agile delivery framework

  • Participate in sprint planning, task breakdown, and backlog refinement

  • Collaborate with product managers and business partners to clarify requirements and drive alignment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# and ASP.NET development

  • 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based services and infrastructure

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL and data warehouse technologies

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Experience with CI/CD methodologies, including pipeline configuration and YAML-based workflows

  • Ability to work independently from documented requirements through design, development, testing, and deployment

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system and code-level issues

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

  • Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and customer-focused mindset

  • Consistent employment history with a minimum of 18 months tenure in recent roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, including application and web services, advanced storage solutions, container orchestration, event-driven architectures, identity and access management, secrets management, and cloud-based databases

  • Experience deploying, managing, and monitoring containerized workloads

  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code solutions

  • Experience working in regulated or security-sensitive environments

  • Front-end development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Angular.js

  • Prior experience in large, complex enterprise environments is a strong plus

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $105,000 to $115,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
