Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water / Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater process design, with a strong emphasis on treatment processes. This role involves leading the design and implementation of advanced water treatment systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our clients.

Process Design

Lead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment processes, including raw water pump stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, and chemical systems.

Project Leadership

Manage and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Technical Expertise

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure all designs and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Client Engagement

Work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide technical solutions, and maintain strong relationships.

Innovation

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Experience

10+ years of experience in water/wastewater process design, with a strong preference for water treatment expertise.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in designing raw water pump stations, coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, ozone treatment, filtration, chemical metering pumps, transfer pumps, and chloramine systems.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Certifications

Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Software Proficiency

Experience with engineering design software such as AutoCAD, WaterCAD, or equivalent tools.

Communication Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, teams, and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions.

Extensive experience in water treatment processes is highly preferred.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
