Our rapidly evolving IT department is seeking a Senior Virtualization Engineer with expertise in automation and large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will lead projects, manage complex workloads, and proactively implement best practices. Strong time management and a history of setting and meeting results-oriented goals are essential.
We deliver secure, stable, and reliable infrastructure for thousands of systems, supporting a wide range of applications
We work proactively to minimize service disruptions in a dynamic environment, prioritizing resiliency and rapid recovery for business operations and services
We modernize and transform IT with Automation and Process Engineering
Provide technical leadership and guidance for a team of engineers who work to proactively maintain platform stability and security through best practices and automation
Drive modernization initiatives and influence technology adoption
Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure transparent communication, risk mitigation, and accountability
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience as a Senior Virtualization Engineer in large organizations
5+ years of PowerShell experience (Ansible\Python a plus)
Proven accountability for performance and continuous improvement
Strong communicator, able to communicate effectively with management and business partners
Forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate future technology trends
Skilled at recognizing opportunities to streamline and automate everyday tasks
Exceptional communication skills
Deep subject matter expertise with a commitment to driving strategic objectives, best practices, and automation
Effective mentor and team leader with the ability to influence peers and business partners
Drives modernization and strategic improvements of infrastructure platforms

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $184,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
