Position Overview:

Our rapidly evolving IT department is seeking a Senior Virtualization Engineer with expertise in automation and large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will lead projects, manage complex workloads, and proactively implement best practices. Strong time management and a history of setting and meeting results-oriented goals are essential.

Your Impact:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for a team of engineers who work to proactively maintain platform stability and security through best practices and automation

  • Drive modernization initiatives and influence technology adoption

  • Collaborate with IT leadership to ensure transparent communication, risk mitigation, and accountability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Virtualization Engineer in large organizations

  • 5+ years of PowerShell experience (Ansible\Python a plus)

  • Proven accountability for performance and continuous improvement

  • Strong communicator, able to communicate effectively with management and business partners

  • Forward-thinking, with the ability to anticipate future technology trends

  • Skilled at recognizing opportunities to streamline and automate everyday tasks

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $184,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
