We are seeking an experienced Head of Technology for our East Coast operations, based in New York. This leadership role will oversee and grow our technology practice across the Northeast region, managing a high-performing team of professionals in NY and Boston, while driving business development and cultivating a dynamic, growth-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Build, mentor, and manage a talented team of technology professionals across New York and Boston
    • Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that prioritizes professional development and career growth
  • Business Development & Growth
    • Drive new client acquisition and account expansion within the technology sector
    • Develop and execute regional growth strategy aligned with company objectives
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key technology industry clients and partners
    • Identify and pursue new market opportunities in assigned territories
    • Support proposal development and client presentations
  • Practice Management & Operations
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the East Coast technology practice
    • Ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction across all engagements
    • Manage budget, resource allocation, and profitability metrics
    • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
  • Industry Expertise & Innovation
    • Leverage deep knowledge across multiple technology domains to advise clients and guide team strategy
    • Stay current with AI/ML applications and emerging technologies in the tech sector
    • Mentor team on industry trends and best practices

 

Qualifications

  • Experience
    • Minimum 12+ years in technology industry, with significant agency or professional services background
    • Proven track record of leading and scaling technology teams
    • Demonstrated success in business development and account management
    • Strong understanding of agency culture, operations, and business models
  • Technical Knowledge
    • Deep expertise in at least most of the following sectors:
    • B2B/Enterprise Technology
    • Cloud Services & Architecture
    • Infrastructure & Data Center Solutions
    • Consumer Electronics
    • Cybersecurity
    • Semiconductors & Data Storage
    • Proficiency with AI/ML and emerging technologies
    • Ability to speak authoritatively with C-level technology executives
  • Leadership & Soft Skills
    • Exceptional people management and team-building abilities
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

The anticipated salary range for the SVP level is $110,000 - $231,000 per year. 

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
