We are seeking a Senior Vice President or Managing Director for the Global Private Debt team focused on covering middle market private equity firms with the experience of primarily originating but also executing a variety of transaction types with such counterparties. This team originates, structures, and prices a variety of direct lending transactions including first lien, second lien, preferred or holdco financings, and other capital solutions with private equity sponsor-owned businesses.
Tier 1 relationships with middle market private equity firms (generally fund sizes >$1 billion)
Originate, source, and lead underwriting of private debt opportunities
Structure and negotiate prospective deals with borrowers
Lead negotiation and execution of credit agreements
Monitor ongoing performance of investments
Negotiate waivers and amendments
Present prospective transactions to direct lending investment committee for approval
Experience Required:
A minimum 10 years private lending experience with strong origination expertise
Proven track record and rolodex of relationships with corporations, M&A advisors, private equity firms and bankers
Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills
Experience assisting in the negotiation of transaction structure and terms
Familiarity with non-investment grade credit lending

Base salary range: $250,000 - $275,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement.
