The Senior Vice President (SVP) of New Stream Media (NSM) will serve as a senior executive leader responsible for driving strategic consulting, innovation, and growth across dentsu’s Retail Media Network (RMN) and enterprise media offerings. This role will lead the integration of NSM capabilities across agency brands including Carat, and dentsuX, ensuring cohesive delivery and client success across buy-side and sell-side engagements.

You will be accountable for shaping and scaling NSM’s consulting model, with a particular emphasis on cross-practice orchestration, client-centric innovation, and enterprise media alignment. This includes leading strategic engagements, evolving monetization frameworks, and embedding NSM into broader media and commerce transformation initiatives. You will report to the EVP, New Stream Media Practice Lead

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Consulting & Innovation

  • Lead NSM’s strategic consulting engagements across RMNs and enterprise media clients, delivering high-impact solutions that drive revenue, efficiency, and brand growth.
  • Architect and evolve NSM’s consulting model to be scalable, repeatable, and integrated across agency brands and service lines.
  • Champion innovation in media strategy, including audience development, adtech enablement, and measurement frameworks.

Cross-Practice Integration

  • Serve as the connective tissue between NSM and dentsu’s media, analytics, creative, and CXM practices.
  • Partner with agency brand leads to embed NSM capabilities into client engagements, pitches, and QBRs.
  • Align NSM’s roadmap with enterprise media priorities, ensuring seamless integration and shared accountability.

Client Leadership & Growth

  • Act as executive sponsor for top-tier RMN and enterprise media clients, guiding strategic direction and ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Lead business development efforts, including pursuit strategy, proposal development, and client onboarding.
  • Drive expansion into new verticals and media formats, including non-endemic advertising, offsite media, and in-store activations.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee NSM’s operating model, including staffing plans, delivery frameworks, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with business operations and finance teams to ensure profitability and scalability.
  • Develop internal enablement tools, training programs, and best practices to support NSM growth.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in media strategy, retail media, or digital advertising, with a proven track record of executive leadership.
  • Deep expertise in retail media monetization, enterprise media planning, and non-endemic advertising strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and integrating capabilities across agency brands.
  • Strong understanding of media platforms (e.g., DV360, Meta, Criteo), clean rooms (e.g., LiveRamp), and retail data ecosystems.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with consulting frameworks, strategic planning, and organizational transformation.

The annual salary range for this position is $197,225 -$250,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
