Job Description Summary

You will raise customer financing to enable sales of Healthcare equipment & services and play a key role in closing deals. The job requires someone with deep knowledge of Commercial Finance products and 10+ years of experience in a lending capacity with banks and/or leasing companies.

The role requires the person to be embedded with the sales team, with some amount of travel. It requires the ability to structure transactions based on customers' needs and take them to lending partners for funding. Establishing lending programs for SME & mid-market customers and monitoring these programs regularly is also an important part of the job.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Indonesia management team and in particular the sales team to understand business needs, targets for the countries and flow of the business. Stay embedded with sales team and be on calls and join customer meetings with them. Develop a regular rhythm with sales people in understanding their financing demands and meeting their customers.
  • Influence sales outcomes by advocating the right financial products to customers and sales team. This will require structuring skills and market knowledge to match best possible terms for customer with availability of funding in the market.
  • Develop group of core lenders from the banking market, both private and government sectors and maintain regular calling rhythm with them to obtain best possible financial terms. Another key source of funding is the leasing market so it’s important to establish and develop these relationships as well.
  • Create financing proposals/term sheets which match our customers' needs and seek funding support from the market.
  • Develop working capital lending programs for our distributors with partner banks. Manage, maintain and grow the programs in-line with their needs. 
  • Maintain a regular rhythm in reporting to leadership team, both within Indonesia and with the Healthcare Financial Services vertical outside the country.
  • Initially, Indonesia will be the primary focus of this role but over time, coverage and responsibilities are expected to expand to one or more other AKA countries

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Commercial Finance, Financial Services, Banking, Leasing, or Structured Finance, with a strong track record in customer financing or deal structuring.
  • Proven track record in structuring financing solutions or commercial deals, ideally involving customer financing, project financing, or capital equipment.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, including loans, leasing structures, working capital financing, and credit facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with commercial/sales teams to support deal shaping and customer engagement.
  • Experience engaging with external financial institutions (banks, leasing companies, or lenders) and managing those relationships.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance business growth with financial risk considerations.
  • Ability to develop and present financial proposals or term sheets tailored to customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in healthcare, medical equipment, or capital-intensive industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with emerging markets financing environments, particularly within Southeast Asia or similar regions.
  • Strong understanding of working capital programs, distributor financing models, or channel financing structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority, especially in matrix environments.
  • Experience participating in or supporting customer-facing meetings and negotiations alongside sales teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop networks across banking and leasing ecosystems.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment with evolving scope and regional responsibilities.
  • High level of ownership, adaptability, and comfort working with ambiguous or developing business needs.
  • Experience working in a multinational or cross-country setup, with exposure to regional collaboration.
