Senior Vice President, Head of Product Line Floorcare

Major Function

As SVP, Head of Product Line Floorcare, you will be responsible for the overall performance, competitiveness, and long‑term strategy of the Floorcare portfolio at a global scale. Your role centers on defining a clear product and solution roadmap, ensuring market alignment, and driving sustainable growth through cross‑functional collaboration. You will oversee the full lifecycle of the portfolio — from insight and development to go‑to‑market execution and profitability.

This role can be based in the USA (Brooklyn Park), Denmark (Copenhagen or Hadsund), Hungary (Budapest or Nagykanizsa), or Italy (Piacenza). The position reports to EVP, Chief Technology Officer and collaborates closely with stakeholders across global regions, operations, sourcing, marketing, sales, service, and regulatory functions. As this is a global leadership role, some international travel should be expected to engage with regional teams, customers, and key partners.

Your New Team

You will lead a global team of product management, product development and product lifecycle management. You'll co-operate with a highly collaborative, international team working across marketing, operations, regional sales, and commercial functions. Team members are located across Europe, North America, and key regional hubs, working together closely to deliver a unified and future‑ready portfolio.
Teams collaborate in a matrix setup, combining strategic direction with local market insight to support strong execution.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction of the global Floorcare portfolio, using market insights, customer pain points, competitive analysis, and industry trends to guide prioritization and long‑term planning and regional requirements while aligning with regional leaders. Ensure R&D turns these priorities into products that genuinely reflect market needs.
• Shape the product and solution roadmap, ensuring products meet market needs, support Nilfisk’s vision, and deliver strong customer value.
• Oversee cross‑functional product development, ensuring requirements for quality, cost, design, sustainability, and operational readiness are embedded throughout the development process.
• Drive Portfolio/Product growth and profitability: Manage overall growth and profitability of the portfolio by driving VA/VE/Cost reduction initiatives with Operations, sourcing, pricing and regional teams.
• Lead impactful go‑to‑market execution, partnering with regional teams on positioning, launch strategies, customer engagement, channel strategy, sales enablement, and training.
• Act as the primary liaison across internal stakeholders, ensuring strong collaboration between operations, sourcing, marketing, regions, service, and legal teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications to Succeed in the Position

To thrive in this role, you bring a blend of strategic vision, commercial sharpness, and cross‑functional leadership. You likely have:

• University degree in Technical or Commercial field.
•  Extensive experience leading global product lines, portfolios, or solution strategies in a complex, international organization.
• Solid track record in guiding products through the full lifecycle, from insights and concepting to development, launch, optimization, and phase‑out.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, with the ability to translate insights into impactful decisions.
• Experience collaborating with operations, sourcing, service, and R&D teams to deliver quality, cost, and design outcomes.
• The ability to influence without authority,
• An analytical mindset and confidence managing pricing, cost, value engineering, and financial levers of portfolio performance.

Compensation
$203,800 -$254,800 base salary + bonus

The estimated pay range indicates the expected annualized pay range for this position. It may not include potential bonus incentives such as annual bonus’ as well as sales and sales related incentives, or overtime (on eligible positions). The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, and the location from which they will work. The final pay determination will comply with state or local minimum wage laws applicable to the job's location. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
