The role

As a Senior UX Designer, you'll own design end-to-end—from messy problem to shipped experience. You'll frame problems before jumping to solutions, navigate ambiguity without waiting to be unblocked, and hold the craft bar high across interaction quality, visual clarity, and product fit. You'll work closely with product and engineering and be a partner they trust.

What you'll do

  • Frame before you solve. Define clear problem statements. Evaluate multiple approaches. Articulate trade-offs against product goals and user needs.
  • Design complex flows, not just screens. Solve for end-to-end journeys. Catch gaps and edge cases before engineering does.
  • Raise the craft bar. Ship experiences with strong interaction quality, visual clarity, and usability. Contribute improvements to design systems and patterns.
  • Own the research thread. Identify and plan research efforts aligned to product goals. Work with the research function to ensure execution matches intent. Use data and insights to bring the voice of the user into every product conversation.
  • Run and learn from experiments. We move fast and test often. You'll design for experimentation, interpret what the results are saying, and use that to sharpen your next move.
  • Drive work to done. Own complex feature work from exploration through launch. Ensure what ships meets the quality bar you set.
  • Tell the product story. Communicate design decisions and trade-offs clearly. Influence product direction through how you frame and present your thinking.

Who you are

  • 4+ years in UX or product design, with a portfolio of experiences that are live and used by real people at scale. A portfolio is required to apply.
  • You've shipped complex consumer product experiences, end-to-end, at a fast-moving team.
  • You think in systems. You connect individual screens to flows, flows to journeys, journeys to outcomes.
  • You have a strong point of view on interaction quality and visual craft—and the portfolio to back it up.
  • You're comfortable using research and data to sharpen your design thinking—not just as validation, but as a tool for discovery.
  • You communicate well. Your design reviews are clear, your trade-offs are reasoned, your thinking lands.
  • You're comfortable in ambiguity. You can move forward without complete information.
  • Bonus: experience designing for TV, large-screen, or lean-back environments.

What we're not looking for

  • Designers who jump to Figma before understanding the problem.
  • Designers who need a PM to hand them a spec to get started.
  • Designers who treat design review as a presentation, not a conversation.
  • Designers optimizing for output over outcome—screens shipped vs. experiences improved.
  • Designers who design in isolation and hand off. Collaboration isn't a step in your process; it's how you work.

TV is underdesigned. The lean-back interaction model is underexplored. AI-native shopping is barely started. If you want to work on a genuinely novel design problem—not a variation of something that already exists—this is it.
