Life at Everquote

Come join us at EverQuote, a leading online insurance marketplace. We help people compare insurance, and connect them to the best insurance provider.

Our design team focuses on delivering the best experience possible for shoppers, making it simple and fast to find coverage that’s right for them. Alongside this we continuously improve our agent platform, streamlining workflows and empowering agents to provide the best possible quotes to shoppers.

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to elevate the craft and impact of design within EverQuote’s B2B Enterprise experience. This role is about shaping the future of our Enterprise experience, impacting the lives of thousands of daily active internal and external users.

You’ll step in to drive clarity, alignment and ambitious thinking in a fast-paced environment. You’ll learn and grow through mentoring and support, as well as have the room to use your curiosity and self starting nature to crack on.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead ambiguous problem discovery for B2B Enterprise - defining clear opportunities with evidence based decisions. Translate business and user needs into focused design bets that align teams around measurable outcomes
  • Elevate the design craft, and experience quality - raise the design bar across B2B workflows. Deliver scalable and coherent enterprise experiences that balance speed with clarity and usability.
  • Use your exceptional facilitation skills to develop real lasting relationships within design, agile and wider business stakeholder groups.
  • Make evidence based design decisions. Continuously testing your assumptions to ensure your designs are viable, feasible and usable.
  • Drive impact through measurement - define success metrics upfront - partnering with analytics to evaluate performance and spark iteration
  • Think in systems, ensuring seamless interactions between the product and all connected systems - such as billing, platform and third-party integrations —to create a cohesive, efficient, and user-centered experience.
  • Conduct exploratory user research and usability testing to understand and validate ideas, continually using insights from both qualitative and quantitative sources to inform design decisions
  • Ideate through sketching, mock-ups, storyboards & prototypes - delivering  high-fidelity designs for our Enterprise experience
  • Exceptional data visualization skills, crafting intuitive and compelling visuals that make complex data easy to understand and act on
  • Co-create with Design, Product, Engineering, Analytics and business teams across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
  • Expertly facilitate collaborative workshops to align stakeholders, drive problem discovery and accelerate user-centred decision making
  • Support the evolution of our design system to ensure we continue to grow in an efficient, scalable and consistent way
  •  Participate in a culture of feedback and actively seek out feedback on your work and approaches
  • Be an active figure in our design community, collaborating in our design routines, contributing to our culture of continuous learning and improvement

Who you are:

  • 5 - 8  years experience designing digital user experiences (Weighted towards B2B, internal tools & complex system design)
  • Education in Graphic Design, Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Business or related disciplines
  • Solid experience designing across the product development lifecycle, from 0 to 1
  • Expert Figma proficiency
  • Expert in conducting user research, especially user interviewing and usability testing
  • Experienced in creating, maintaining and scaling information architectures and navigation systems
