Our software and technology are center stage in creating value for our business and our customers.  We are looking for a Senior UX designer whose years of experience with design research, wireframing and prototyping will enable them to make a difference in our business.  

 

As a Senior UX Designer, you will work in the development unit of the Transported by Maersk Platform (TbM) where we develop business-critical tools to support our internal users in their daily jobs. This role requires a strong ability to apply system thinking, leverage AI in Product Design, and navigate complexity to create scalable solutions that meet customer and operational needs. 

 

To continue our digital transformation, we need a Senior UX Designer to join our existing team of 20 designers in TbM.

Key responsibilities    

As a Senior UX Designer, you work across the design cycle, by generating a detailed understanding of user needs, creating conceptual and detailed designs, and validating them. You will also promote Design Thinking to stakeholders across the organization through your work and deliverables.   

Together with a cross-disciplinary team of Product Owners, UI Developers, and Software Engineers, you’ll work to create the necessary user flows and solutions to support user tasks and decision on a global scale.  

In short, we are looking for someone who wants to:   

  • Drive the UX efforts across multiple; identifying the UX work needed and help build a vision for the future state  

  • Work closely with Product Owners and Business stakeholders to explore problem spaces, ideate solutions, and lead research, design, and testing from concept to launch. 

  • Make conceptual ideas and refine them into a useful and valuable product experience.   

  • Provide and solicit feedback from other designers to continually raise the bar of quality.   

  • Integrate AI and data-driven insights into design processes to enhance decision-making 

  • Promote Design Thinking, user-centric approaches, and system-level thinking across teams. 

  • Mentor and coach more junior designers   

 

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years in UX research/design 

  • MA/MSc in HCI, Product Design, or a related field with years of experience with desktop experiences, product-, interaction-, and information design. 

  • Experience with AI-driven design approaches or data-informed UX. Familiarity with design tools and AI powered work processes, such as in Figma, Lovable. Experience working with design systems.

  • Experience with designing AI-powered user experiences. 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.

  • Experience working in an agile development process and/or iterative UX environment – and an environment that is undergoing large change. 

  • Ability to work independently with stakeholders while liaising and reviewing with fellow designers. 

  • Proven ability to collaborate and to communicate ideas and design rationale – verbally and written. 

  • Experience working with Enterprise UX is a plus.
