Our Senior Underwriters provide complete solutions for commercial mid‑market businesses. Working closely with a wide range of broker partners, they take a holistic view of each risk and make underwriting decisions that make sense for everyone involved. This role focuses specifically on underwriting risks for senior care and social services, combining strong technical expertise with relationship‑building to ensure risks are assessed accurately and thoughtfully.
As a Senior Underwriter, you will play an important role in sharing knowledge across the team — coaching, mentoring, and helping develop less experienced underwriters. If you are great at:
- Commercial underwriting
- Problem‑solving and critical thinking
- Building strong relationships with broker partners
- Thriving in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the development of others
You have:
- 5+ years of underwriting experience in property, casualty, or automobile
- Completed or are pursuing your CIP designation
- A strong customer service background
- A team‑first mentality

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is $80,000–$120,000, reflecting expected base pay (not total compensation). Actual salary will vary based on your experience, skills, and alignment with the role. We’re open to candidates at different levels — so if the range doesn’t perfectly align with your expectations, we still encourage you to apply.
