Senior UI/UX Designer – Denver, CO
This Senior UI/UX Designer role will own the design of multiple capabilities within our compliance application suite, creating intuitive, user-centric experiences that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and experience for users across the globe.
This individual will advocate for user experience principles and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in user-experience design and will be a key contributor to our product strategy, transformation, and innovation.
Role Responsibilities
Design Strategy & Leadership:
Lead design efforts for large-scale, high-impact projects, driving design direction and ensuring consistency across capabilities.
Advocate for the importance of user experience within the company, promoting best practices and user-centric design solutions.
User Research & Analysis:
Conduct in-depth user research, including user interviews, persona development, and journey mapping, to inform design and product decisions.
Synthesize research findings into actionable insights that shape the design and development process.
Use data-driven approaches to measure user satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in the user experience.
Ensure that designs are tested and validated rigorously to meet user needs and business goals before launch.
Advanced Design, Wireframing & Prototyping:
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI specifications that can be handed off to development teams.
Support the creation of design systems and ensure adherence to UI/UX guidelines and design principles.
Provide strategic input on interactive elements, animations, and transitions to elevate the user experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and user goals.
Ability to lead and facilitate workshops (e.g. design sprints, ideation sessions, journey mapping workshops) for collaborative problem solving
Support continuous improvement across our teams by providing feedback and helping others to improve their skills.
Lead design reviews and ensure the team maintains a high standard of work.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Stay current on emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, bringing fresh ideas and best practices to the team.
Continuously refine the design process to improve efficiency, collaboration, and quality of work.
Drive innovation in design and contribute to the evolution of the design system and product strategy.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Present design concepts and solutions to clients, stakeholders, and executive leadership, clearly articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high standards of design quality.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure that user experience goals align with business objectives.
Role Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of leading 0-1 design projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
Advanced certifications in UI/UX design or related areas are a plus.
Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Expertise in prototyping tools like InVision, Principle, or Framer.
Expertise in user testing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Hotjar, Maze) and analytics platforms.
Excellent organization and communication skills, capable of presenting complex design ideas clearly and persuasively while ensuring design artifacts are consistently organized, accessible, and aligned across teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to align user experience goals with business objectives while able to influence without authority.
Highly collaborative, able to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to maintain clarity and alignment across distributed teams through organized design artifacts and regular syncs.
Adaptable and comfortable in fast-paced environments, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects through ambiguity.

Salary
The base salary range is $121,000 - $151,000 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
