The role:
Do you have a passion for Microsoft Teams, Voice and Video, and other Microsoft 365 technologies? We’re looking for someone to champion engineering and operational excellence within our Collaboration team, with an immediate focus on Microsoft Teams. As an AV/Microsoft 365 Cloud Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to install, configure and deliver the roadmap for Microsoft Teams and related technologies.
The ideal candidate is communicative, analytical, and with practical engineering experience in Teams or Skype for Business services and devices. Experience with InTune policies, SharePoint and Power Platform is also highly sought after!
Duties
Design, engineer and implement Teams voice, Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and other AV technologies across all global Sabre offices
Configure Teams policies, call queues, voice routing and related resources
Implement Intune conditional policies and MTR device lifecycle management
Manage digital signage (AppSpace) deployments and future digital signage state
Recommend future state, design and roadmap for MTR and A/V hardware
Produce Teams voice/AV related analytical reports and recommendations
Develop, organize, and maintain standard operational procedures for MTR and A/V
Lead MTR deployments for global Office moves and integrations
Lead A/V technical discussions with leadership and interact with business partners
Manage the Teams Direct Routing service and vendor
Act as Tier III escalation point for the Service Desk and Field Engineering teams
Support large onsite Town Hall or customer focused events when required
Support Microsoft Teams ‘apps’ and Power Automate flows (desirable)
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 3-years administering Microsoft Teams Room systems and voice services
Minimum 3-years Intune configurations and policies
Minimum 3-years’ experience working with either Microsoft SharePoint or Exchange
Demonstrable knowledge of PowerShell scripts and ability to configured policies
Excellent verbal and written communication and internal customer facing skills
Confidence to converse and manage C-level audiences
Experience with A/V hardware Logitech, Poly, Crestron or Yealink and configurations
Demonstrable knowledge of LAN, WAN and VPN technologies
Experience working within an ITIL framework
