What This Job Involves:
Prioritizing Operational Needs
In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, you’ll oversee day-to-day transport operations and cafeteria management, ensuring all services run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include addressing operational challenges, optimizing workflows, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Continuous improvement will be at the forefront of your work.
You’ll monitor transport and cafeteria supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support seamless operations. Additionally, you’ll manage supply and service contracts, coordinating with vendors as per client-approved terms.
Risk Mitigation & Safety Compliance
You’ll take a proactive role in mitigating risks by participating in emergency response procedures, crisis management, and business continuity planning for both transport and cafeteria operations. Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met across operations, including transport services and cafeteria spaces, will be a key responsibility.
Budget Oversight & Vendor Management
You’ll carefully monitor budgets, ensuring adequate financial resources like petty cash are available to support day-to-day operations. Vendor invoice processes will be managed meticulously to comply with standards and timelines. You will also validate invoices for both transport services and cafeteria operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Exceeding Expectations
Client satisfaction will be your top priority, and you’ll actively seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery. You’ll handle complex issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
To maintain high standards, you’ll conduct routine audits of both transport and cafeteria services, identifying areas for enhancement. You’ll also generate detailed reports, including stock reports, meeting notes, and monthly management summaries for clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Driving Team Performance & Collaboration
You’ll work closely with transport teams, cafeteria staff, and vendors to foster a culture of excellence and achieve key performance metrics. By staying in tune with team dynamics, you’ll ensure smooth coordination and effective communication across all stakeholders.
This role requires a hands-on professional with exceptional organizational, analytical, and leadership skills to drive excellence in transport operations and cafeteria management.

Strong knowledge of Facilities operations.
Playing a key role, the ideal candidate holds a degree in business or hotel and building management, and at least three to five years’ experience in facilities management.
You must also demonstrate good working knowledge in occupational safety, as well as aptitude in client-centric operations.

Detailed Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Cab Service Operations (Gurgaon): Oversee and manage day-to-day cab service operations for the Gurgaon region, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Spot Rental Management Tracking (All Locations): Monitor and track spot rental operations across NCR, Bangalore, and Noida, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Transport Management System Expertise: Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Transport Management Systems or similar platforms/tools in the transport domain.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage transport teams effectively, with strong man-management skills.
MIS Operations: Manage and execute MIS processes with precision to ensure accurate reporting and data analysis.
Routing & Automation: Utilize routing techniques and automation tools to optimize transport operations.
Vendor Management: Handle vendor relationships, ensure compliance with contracts, and oversee performance.
Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets, validate invoices, and ensure timely processing to maintain cost efficiency.
Data-Driven Solutions: Leverage data analytics to propose innovative solutions for streamlining transport operations economically and efficiently.
Conflict Resolution & Stakeholder Interaction: Collaborate with project leads, resolve conflicts, deliver presentations, and manage vendor engagements.
Advanced Excel & Analytics: Apply advanced Excel skills and analytics to monitor, evaluate, and improve transport operations.
Communication Skills: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Cafeteria operations: Oversee cafeteria operations, including weekly menu planning and coordination between the client and food vendor partners. Validate vendor invoices and ensure accuracy in billing. Supervise cafeteria activities during peak lunch hours, managing crowds and ensuring smooth service delivery. Ensure housekeeping teams maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in areas such as tables, chairs, and dishwashing stations.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in transport operations management, preferably across multiple locations.
Expertise in using Transport Management Systems and automation tools.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in advanced Excel.
Solid vendor management and compliance experience.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering innovative solutions through data-driven insights.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.
