Senior Trade Marketing Executive

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Planning, executing, and optimizing trade marketing initiatives that drive sell-in, sell-out, and brand visibility across TT and MT distribution channels. Works closely with other functions in Marketing, with Sales and Supply Chain to translate Decorative brand strategy into effective, executable trade programs at the outlet level.

This position is based in Bangkok and reported to Marketing Manager.

1. Trade Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Plan, execute, and monitor sell-in and sell-out trade campaigns to support business objectives and sales targets
  • Translate Decorative brand and category strategies into effective trade mechanics, promotions, and channel activations
  • Ensure timely rollout of trade campaigns across all distribution channels with clear communication to sales teams and stakeholders

2. Master Painter Program Planning & Management 

  • Support development and deployment of Master Painter Program initiatives and mechanics
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage Master Painter Program to strengthen painter engagement, loyalty, drive conversion and advocacy for Decorative brands
  • Track program performance and monitor spending to ensure alignment with approved budgets, while maximizing ROI and value for both painters and Jotun business

3. Performance Tracking & Market Insights

  • Track trade KPIs for as sell-in and sell-out trade campaigns and trade initiatives for painters
  • Track spending on trade campaigns and initiatives, ensure alignment with approved budget and evaluate promotion ROI
  • Conduct promotion effectiveness evaluation and provide insights for optimization
  • Monitor competitor trade activities and recommend tactical responses

4. Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

  • Recommend improvements to trade strategies based on execution learnings and market feedback
  • Pilot new trade initiatives, mechanics, or activation models to drive growth

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years in marketing experience in Trade or Retail Marketing 
  • Proven experience in identifying market opportunities and executing trade programs such as sell-in and sell-out campaigns, or loyalty programs and engagement initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Understand trade channels and shopper behavior, and how trade promotions influence purchase.
  • Demonstrates analytical capabilities in analyzing data and campaign results, project management, growth mindset, and presentation skills.
  • Good command written & spoken English and ability to influence and collaborate with others (internal & external stakeholders, vendors and agencies).
