The Opportunity
This position provides technical support by performing any combination of routine or occasional non-routine duties involving the selection and use of standard procedures and/or equipment in support of medical diagnostic instrument and/or reagent development and production.

What You’ll Work On
Applies advanced-level technical expertise in a specialized discipline such as electronics, life science, chemistry, mechanics, or software.
Demonstrates cross-functional knowledge and integrates concepts across multiple disciplines.
Uses and may optimize computer applications and systems within functional areas.
Develops and utilizes advanced tools, scripts, or data analysis methods to support testing activities.
Leads and executes non-routine, highly complex assignments with minimal supervision.
Evaluates and improves established procedures, recommending and implementing enhancements.
Exercises independent judgment to determine best methods, troubleshoot issues, and drive resolution.
Leverages internal and external resources to solve complex technical challenges.
Reads, interprets, and trains others on manuals, test procedures, and equipment documentation.
Interprets engineering drawings, schematics, and complex test procedures; provides guidance to others.
Authors and maintains detailed technical procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in specialized equipment, tools, and test methods.
Applies statistical, mathematical, and analytical techniques to drive data-based decisions.
Performs advanced failure analysis to component level, identifying root cause and implementing corrective actions.
Leads complex testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting efforts across products or systems.
Designs and executes experimental test plans to evaluate new or modified products.
Partners with Engineering to support design validation, new product introduction (NPI), and test optimization.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Mentors and provides technical leadership to Test Technicians and junior staff.
Ensures full compliance with safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory (FDA) requirements.
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required.
2–5+ years of relevant technical experience
Proven experience performing complex troubleshooting, failure analysis, and test development
Experience in electronic manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environments
Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead technical problem-solving efforts
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, schematics, and test systems
Ability to work in conditions requiring frequent hand/eye coordination and occasional lifting or equipment operation
Comfortable working in environments that may include biohazard exposure
Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment with strict documentation and quality requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certificate or Associate’s degree preferred.
2+ years of demonstrated, high-performing experience in a Test Technician role, consistently excelling in technical execution, troubleshooting, and quality standards.

The base pay for this position is
$22.45 – $44.85/hourIn specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
