We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer – Integration and Test supporting one of our premier programs within the Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. As part of the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) organization, your experience with test planning, procedure development, debugging system functions and interfaces, and building test environments will be put to good use. You will work closely with integration teams and customers to deliver advanced ground system solutions. The work is on-site in Richardson, TX.

What You Will Do

• Work with a cross-disciplinary engineering team delivering industry-leading ground systems solutions
• Perform integration and test activities as part of an Agile Release Train (ART)
• Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration and collaborate with engineers to drive resolution
• Develop and execute automated test scripts
• Troubleshoot and debug system-level issues
• Operate within an Agile program environment

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with systems integration and test for software products in an Agile environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
• Experience with test automation and test execution, Experience troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems or products
• Experience working with Linux (Red Hat) environments and scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• An active and transferable U.S. government-issued TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
• Experience in satellite ground system development or operations
• Development experience in project domains such as mission management ground systems or space-based ISR platforms
• Experience with Agile development tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and familiarity with Linux operating systems or cloud environments

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
