About QuidelOrtho Italy
The Milan office represents the heart of QuidelOrtho Italia's corporate strategy. Our Italian organization is composed of about 70 people: 30% of the staff is based in the office and covers Finance, QRC, IT, People and Culture, General Services, Sales, Administration and Tender functions; the rest of the team is instead located throughout the country where, playing the role of Account Manager, Field Engineer or Laboratory Specialist, takes care of our customers, both from a commercial and technical-specialist point of view. Your new role

The Senior Tender Specialist works closely with his/her manager and colleagues preparing administrative, technical and economic documentation both for public and private tenders for the Italian market.

 

What you'll be doing

• Prepare tenders (paper and telematic), contractual documents and related reports

• Efficiently drive and coordinate tender process preparation, submission and follow-up processes with stakeholders.

• Assess tender requirements and documents to ensure compliance with policies and applicable laws

• Liaise with internal staff and external stakeholders to ensure 'zero mistakes' in tender preparation and submission

• Review tender & contract documentation

• Set Terms&Conditions as necessary and allowed in the tender process

• Ensure common tendering practices are adopted throughout the business

• Maintain the tender and response document folders, maintaining, updating and monitoring records on ongoing, outstanding, won and lost tenders

• General administration duties

 

What you'll need to succeed

• General and specific tender knowledge ( contract terms and language) related to the Italian legislation

• minimum 5 years of work experience in tenders management in the diagnostics/healthcare field

• Precise, reliable, time-sensitive approach, detail and quality-oriented

• Ability to work independently

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in

writing

• Self-confident and flexible team player

• Master basic IT systems and tools

• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint. .. )

• Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize and multitask in a project-driven and pressurized, structured environment.

• Demonstrated integrity, judgment, and respect for others

• Project management skills

• Proven track record in preparing tenders and contracts without

administrative/technical/economical mistakes

• Fluency in written and spoken English would be a plus
