Job Description:

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Telecom Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Panama.

Job Description

- Execute  Telecom Functional Tests procedures

- Ensure that the delivered test and commissioning documents are available in the required format her/his scope

- Manage and lead the assigned resources in order to perform the tests activities

- Perform the specific tests required by Rams & Engineering

- Report to the Commissioning Manager, no compliance and delays of commissioning activities

- Perform a first level of troubleshooting

- Issue the tests reports of the tests performed

- Mark up documents to issue the as-built commissioning drawings

- Ensure that the Health & Safety regulations applicable to her / his area are applied

- Support the Commissioning Manager in the definitions, organization and execution of the commissioning activities relevant to a project. This can go until the full definition of a T&C plan for a simple & medium signaling project

Additional Job description

- Commissioning Processes rules and standards, Test, maintenance, Railway Operations, vehicle principles, System requirement definition.

- At least 1 year in testing/commissioning roles of Telecom subsystems

- Strong fault finding skills highly desirable

- Fluent English and Spanish languages

- Scheduling and organization, on site working (Health safety and environment).

- Management responsibility
