REQ13787 Senior Technician, Property Services (Open)
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide customer services and technical supports in one or more of the operational areas. Handle guest and employees’ inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Report complaints or problems if no immediate solutions can be found. Assist in maintaining a high level of safety and security for guests and within the property.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Carry out guestroom servicing/maintenance works according to the established schedule and high quality of finishing work
- Operate assigned machines/ equipment or 'Primary Plant' as to provide continuous and consistent utilities required for operations
- Handle the verification, storage and utilization of all fuel deliveries to the premises as per the established policy and procedures
- Immediately report to superiors for difficulties encountered in completing jobs
- Maintain and ensure all tools and equipment are in good order at all times
- Assist in maintaining an effective quality, safety and environmental compliance program
- Conduct adequate control of all hazardous substances, flammable materials, explosive, electrical, noises, radiation and manual handling risks
- Assure buildings and quality corrective action systems are maintained in a safe, clean and operationally effective condition
- Ensure an adequate provision of first-aid and welfare facilities are provided at all designated locations
- Project himself with his staffs as an efficient and professional member of the Property Services and Maintenance team
- Project good grooming standards when dealing with customers
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to superiors and relevant departments
- Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by superiors from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
2 - 3 years working experience in a hotel or in a similar capacity
Education:
- Secondary school certificate in Electrical, Building Services, Mechanical or other rated discipline, or equivalent professional training is preferred
- Candidates without any trade certificates but with solid experience will also be considered
Skills/Competencies:
- Able to read and communicate in
- Good technical knowledge of various central plant, E&M systems and equipment
- Holding of valid Macau Construction Industry Safety Card is an advantage
- Hand-on and possess good problem solving skills and attending to details
- Perform other duties as and when required very last minute and at time of emergency
- Independent and able to work with minimal supervision
- Frequently/Occasional ascending or descending ladders and/or ramps and ability to work in high rise site
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on flexible shift including overnight, weekends and holiday on rotation basis
- Ability to work on overtime when needed
- Good health, physically fit and excellence in personal grooming and presentation
