Join our user documentation team as a Senior Technical Writer for our buy-side Front Office development line!
We are a team of motivated technical writers committed to creating high-quality, user-centric documentation for our investment management solutions and services. We continuously develop and improve our own content management policies and procedures. Our supportive team spirit, buddy programs, and peer processes ensure that we technical writers can efficiently work together and grow professionally and as a team.
We expect you to be comfortable working across our international agile teams: You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to gather information and create structured, consistent content for successful user assistance that supports business outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Research, create, and maintain clear and easy-to-find user documentation in several formats at high quality and without supervision, according to our standards and guidelines, to ensure that users can work efficiently.
Join 4 or more agile teams in their ceremonies, such as stand-ups and sprint reviews, to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our agile user documentation processes.
Collaborate and communicate clearly and reliably with engineering, product management, and other stakeholders to gather technical information and ensure the documentation meets user needs.
Develop user guides, release notes, API documentation, system architecture documents, and other materials and content to support software deployment and usage.
Review and edit existing documentation to improve readability, accuracy, and consistency.
Maintain documentation to reflect new product and service features, updates, and best practices.
Comply with documentation standards and processes, ensuring consistency across all technical content.
Promote best practices in technical writing and ensure continuous skill development.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and tools in technical writing, applying new techniques to improve documentation processes and quality.
WHAT WE VALUE

At least 5 years of experience in technical communication about product and service platforms in a software development organisation
Proficient in speaking and writing in English
Practical experience with topic-based authoring in a structured authoring environment
It’s a plus if you have practical experience working
In a financial environment
In an agile environment
In a DevOps or Continuous Delivery environment
