Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Systems Analyst – Atlassian Cloud Infrastructure & AI Engineering to lead complex initiatives across Atlassian Cloud migration, AI capability integration, enterprise asset management modernization, and digital employee experience optimization. This role requires deep technical systems expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate architectural and integration requirements into actionable, scalable solutions. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional engineering, platform, and business teams to design forward-looking technology strategies that enhance operational efficiency and align with organizational goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

Atlassian Cloud Migration

  • Lead technical discovery and analysis for migrating on‑premise Atlassian applications to Atlassian Cloud.
  • Inventory and assess existing Atlassian applications, plugins, integrations, API dependencies, and infrastructure touchpoints.
  • Evaluate functional and architectural differences between Data Center and Cloud offerings, identifying capability gaps, security constraints, and technical risks.
  • Support licensing and cost modeling, delivering Cloud migration recommendations and phased transition plans within 2–3 months.

AI Integration & Constraints Analysis

  • Evaluate AI integration opportunities including Microsoft Copilot, Atlassian Intelligence, and platform‑specific AI capabilities.
  • Conduct technical constraints analysis covering data quality, system dependencies, integration patterns, and enterprise governance requirements.
  • Develop an execution‑ready action plan outlining feasible AI capabilities, tooling benefits, and system readiness steps.

Service Catalog & Employee Experience Enhancement

  • Analyze the current Service Catalog structure, taxonomy, and workflow complexity with an engineering-focused lens.
  • Recommend improvements that simplify service discovery, reduce friction, and maximize reuse of existing platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the digital employee experience through automation, self‑service optimization, and platform enhancements.

Asset Management Migration

  • Review and analyze the current asset management data model and evaluate readiness for migration to Jira Assets.
  • Provide technical guidance on data cleanup, taxonomy normalization, schema design, and migration planning.
  • Recommend future-state asset management structures aligned with scalable configuration management and lifecycle tracking needs.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Documentation

  • Collaborate with engineering, business, IT operations, and platform teams to gather requirements and facilitate workshops.
  • Produce clear, technically detailed assessments, system gap analyses, architecture considerations, and roadmaps.
  • Ensure documentation is robust, structured, and accessible to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI enablement initiatives, including automation enhancements and improvements to internal service delivery platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Atlassian ecosystem tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Jira Assets.

The base salary for this position is $92,250 – $144,964 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays and paid learning days.
