What You Will Do:

  • Design, configure and support enterprise-level access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Coordinate system integrations between multiple security platforms and enterprise IT network environments.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and life-cycle management plans.

  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, collaborating with internal teams and system integrators to resolve incidents.

  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge-sharing to project stakeholders.

  • Support planning, installation, and deployment of new systems, system migration, integrations, and upgrades.

  • Ensure systems performance aligns with governmental and organizational security policy requirements.

  • Participate in design reviews providing technical input for new construction, renovation, and upgrade projects.

  • Ensure all security-related technologies and system requirements are operable for proactive and reactive programming at each site while co-designing the system with other company programs, including CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, perimeter security mechanism, and other security mitigation measures.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training and 12+ years of relevant industry experience.

  • 5+ years of experience supporting and administering electronic security systems.

  • Experience with system programming, configuration, and network administration.

  • Strong understanding of IP networking and enterprise server system architecture.

  • Ability to develop clear documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • College degree in a relevant field

  • Active U.S. government issued Secret level security clearance a plus

  • PMP certification

  • Certification or advanced platform experience with Lenel S2, Software House C-Cure 9000, Milestone XProtect, or Avigilon.

  • Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site, or mission critical environments.

  • Access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection system programming.

  • Computer networking certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent.

  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Experience conducting audits and reconciliations of security records.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop SOPs and process documentation.

  • Project coordination experience related to working with government officials, contractors, and internal teams.

  • Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and principles (CORE/ACE, SixSigma).

  • Ability to work and effectively communicate across the organization, as well as suppliers and customers.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
