Senior Technical Program Manager - Platform M&E

Ontario, CAN - Remote Full time

Job Requisition ID #

The Team

The Platform M&A team focuses on reducing time to value and driving platform adoption across Autodesk’s acquisitions. Our work spans product, platform, and engineering, integrating new capabilities in a way that balances speed with long-term platform health.

As part of Platform Business Excellence (PBE), we help enable technology-powered solutions that customers value and that support Autodesk’s business. We are a small, high-impact team working across multiple concurrent acquisitions, partnering closely with both internal teams and external acquisition teams to drive integration outcomes and alignment.

Position Overview

As a Senior Technical Program Manager - Platform M&E you will lead program execution across multiple concurrent acquisitions, ensuring integration scope, risks, decisions, and dependencies are clearly defined and managed.

In this role, you’ll work closely with platform, product, and acquired teams to bring structure and clarity to complex integration efforts. You’ll drive alignment across stakeholders, maintain visibility into progress, and help teams make informed decisions to integrate into Autodesk’s platform.

Responsibilities

  • Drive program-level execution across multiple M&A integrations, managing scope, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, ensuring key decisions, tradeoffs, and changes are explicit, documented, and aligned.
  • Prevent silent scope changes by ensuring material changes are surfaced, re-evaluated, and clearly communicated.
  • Track integration progress, tracking plan vs. execution and reporting status to the Integration Management Office and executive leadership.
  • Represent technical, business, and customer concerns in cross-functional decision-making, helping teams make clear, fact-based tradeoffs.
  • Lead structured program forums with clear agendas, decision framing, and documented outcomes.
  • Operate at the program level — not task-level execution — focusing on coordination, clarity, and outcomes rather than individual task tracking.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience in technical program management leading complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Experience managing program-level risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Experience establishing program governance and driving alignment across stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive decisions across technical and business teams.
  • Technical background working closely with engineering teams.
  • Strong AI fluency, applying AI tools to improve execution and productivity.
  • Strong communication skills, able to clearly frame decisions, risks, and tradeoffs for multiple audiences, including executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions planning & execution.
  • Experience with system integrations across multiple products or platforms.
  • Experience working with custom cloud-based software systems.
  • Familiarity with common program and product tools such as Airtable, Jira, Confluence, and Productboard.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker who can connect program execution to broader business and integration outcomes. You bring sound judgment to complex situations, helping teams navigate tradeoffs and make clear, well-informed decisions. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and are able to bring structure and clarity to complex, cross-functional work. You communicate clearly and directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you operate with a high level of ownership, organization, and follow-through.
