Job Title: Senior Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM)
Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs that span engineering, product, security, operations, and business stakeholders. In this role, you will drive program strategy and execution—ensuring we deliver customer and business outcomes on time, at quality, and at scale. You’ll bring strong technical depth, crisp execution, and leadership skills to align teams and remove roadblocks across the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
- Own end-to-end program execution: scope, milestones, dependencies, risk management, and delivery cadence.
- Drive alignment across engineering, product, design, security/compliance, and operations teams.
- Establish and manage program governance: operating rhythms, executive reviews, decision logs, and action tracking.
- Identify risks early, lead mitigation plans, and proactively manage trade-offs (scope/time/quality/cost).
- Create clarity in ambiguous environments—define problem statements, success criteria, and delivery plans.
Technical & Architectural Collaboration
- Partner with engineering leaders to translate architecture and platform strategy into executable roadmaps.
- Facilitate technical discussions to unblock design choices, integration challenges, performance, and reliability constraints.
- Ensure non-functional requirements are captured and executed (security, privacy, availability, latency, scalability, resiliency).
Stakeholder & Executive Management
- Communicate program status with precision and transparency (progress, risks, mitigation, decisions required).
- Influence without authority and build trust across multiple orgs and senior stakeholders.
- Drive crisp decision-making by framing options, trade-offs, and impact.
Process, Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Define measurable program outcomes and KPIs; track and report performance.
- Improve delivery maturity: planning hygiene, estimation practices, dependency mapping, release readiness, retrospectives.
- Champion operational excellence (incident learnings, postmortems, corrective actions, tech debt visibility).
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years experience in technical program management, engineering program management, or equivalent delivery leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success delivering multi-team, multi-quarter technical programs (platform, infrastructure, enterprise systems, or large SaaS features).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile/lean practices, and modern engineering workflows (CI/CD).
- Ability to engage deeply with engineers on architecture concepts (APIs, microservices, distributed systems, data pipelines, cloud infrastructure).
- Expertise in planning and execution: dependency management, critical path analysis, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Strong communication skills: crisp written updates, executive-ready presentations, and structured decision-making.
- Experience working with global/distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Proficiency in Tools Azure DevOps / Jira / Rally/Confluence /Microsoft Suite/ Smartsheet.

- Engineering workflows: GitHub / GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, release management practices
Preferred
- Experience leading AI/ML or GenAI-adjacent programs (even if not an ML engineer).
- Understanding of LLMs and common patterns, Awareness of responsible AI concepts and governance. Experience partnering with legal/security/compliance teams on AI-specific risks
- Practical use of AI tools to improve productivity: requirement synthesis, risk analysis, status automation, release notes generation, and knowledge management.
- Understanding of MLOps basics: model lifecycle, versioning, deployment patterns, observability, and rollback considerations.
Certification:
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification
- Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and AI certifications are a plus
