Open Finance Connectivity
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager Technical, Open Finance Connectivity. The candidate will own Mastercard’s connectivity across a number of European countries and aim to become a champion and in-house expert in open banking connectivity. They will be become part of a team that is blending the agility of a fintech scale-up with the strength and resources of a leading global technology company.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for Mastercard’s open banking connectivity across a portfolio of European countries and all banks within those markets.
Manage and prioritise the roadmap for bank connections, including new integrations, new API endpoints, mandated bank updates, and fixes from internal testing or client issues.
Perform deep analysis of bank connections end‑to‑end — covering bank‑specific nuances and data normalisation — and proactively use logs, traces, and error patterns to identify gaps, diagnose issues, and drive resolution with Engineering.
Use tools to create, run, and maintain test scenarios, reproduce issues, and validate fixes
Partner closely with Engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of new capabilities and high‑quality fixes.
Identify when banks expose new open finance or commercial APIs and collaborate with Engineering to assess integration opportunities.
Support organisation as the subject‑matter expert for connectivity topics
Build and maintain a network of bank contacts and connections to accelerate troubleshooting and updates.
Identify and suggest improvements to connectivity product management processes, tools, and workflows.
All About You
Bachelor's degree is required; an analytical or technical degree from a top-tier institution is preferred
Extensive experience in product development and/or product management is essential.
Excellent English is required; French language skills are strongly preferred.
Thorough understanding of APIs, Open Banking, Open Finance, developer ecosystems, and financial services is expected.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong business acumen; adept at identifying key issues and navigating ambiguity effectively.
Strong collaboration across teams and outcomes's influence through clarity, expertise, and good communication.
Expertise in structuring complex or ambiguous challenges and translating them into actionable steps.
