Senior Technical & Functional Consultant – Bridger FCC

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Technical & Functional Consultant to support the successful delivery of the Bridger Financial Crime Compliance platform. The role blends 65% technical work (installation, integration, troubleshooting) with 35% functional consulting (compliance configuration, client onboarding, and advisory).

You will work directly with financial services and other regulated clients across the full project lifecycle—from pre‑sales and proof of concept through implementation, go-live, and post‑production transition—helping them implement, configure, and optimise their compliance screening operations. .

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Integration (65%)

  • Lead installation, configuration, and technical deployment of the Bridger platform.

  • Design and support system integrations using REST APIs, Webhooks, and SFTP.

  • Maintain technical ownership of on‑premise and hosted environments (IIS, Windows OS, database platforms).

  • Provide third-level technical support for complex issues, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Support teams.

  • Maintain strong knowledge of:

  • RDBMS (SQL Server / MySQL)

  • Web technologies and APIs

  • SDLC and release management

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and configuration records.

  • Support Sales and Solution Consulting teams with technical insights, effort estimates, and feasibility assessments.

Functional Consulting & Compliance Enablement (35%)

  • Lead functional configuration to align the platform with client AML, sanctions, and PEP screening policies.

  • Advise on screening strategies, workflows, and operational best practices to improve efficiency and compliance alignment.

  • Support migrations from legacy systems, including mapping, validation, and readiness activities.

  • Deliver tailored training sessions for both technical and business users.

Client, Team & Business Contribution

  • Manage client communication throughout delivery and ensure strong alignment across internal teams.

  • Present project insights, statistics, and POC results to support business development and renewals.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance delivery processes, tools, and client experience.

  • Represent the FCC Professional Services team in internal and external forums when required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • 5+ years’ experience in technical consulting, professional services, or enterprise software implementation.

  • Hands-on experience implementing or integrating compliance or risk platforms.

  • Technical expertise in:

  • Windows Server, IIS

  • SQL (SQL Server / MySQL)

  • SOAP/XML web services

  • Scripting or programming (PowerShell, C#, Python, or similar)

  • Ability to translate business and compliance requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale projects.
