Job Description
In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and deliver scalable lab informatics solutions for Technical Research and Development.
Translate complex business needs into clear, compliant technical designs and operating processes.
Ensure designs align with architectural roadmaps and trace to functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Lead critical incident investigations for lab applications; coordinate cross-team troubleshooting to resolution.
Integrate and optimize Laboratory Information Management Systems and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks across the lab ecosystem.
Drive end-to-end delivery of projects and use cases within assigned domains.
Champion user experience; design intuitive workflows that increase adoption and productivity.
Enforce security and regulatory compliance, including Good Practice standards and Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11.
Facilitate peer reviews; secure business sign-off on detailed designs and specifications.
Collaborate globally with stakeholders and Data, Digital and Information Technology teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum eight years of experience in the pharmaceutical or information technology industry.
Minimum six years of experience in laboratory information technology within research and development.
Expert proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks.
Hands-on experience with at least one platform such as LabWare, IDBS, or Revvity Signals, and chromatography data systems such as Empower or Chromeleon.
Advanced skills in analysis, detailed design, and enterprise system architecture for laboratory applications.
In-depth knowledge of Good Practice regulations, Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations Part 11, and the Computer System Validation lifecycle.
Proven delivery in global, cross-functional, matrix environments with strong collaboration, facilitation, and conflict resolution; fluent English.
