Position Summary:

Working within the engineering function as a point of contact for many of the departments administrative requirements. This includes monitoring schedule adherence to the maintenance plan, closing of completed activities on the computerised management system, maintaining departmental spreadsheets, raising and expediting of purchase orders and interacting with other departments when required. This is considered to be an SME (subject matter expert) role, and so expertise on the site CMMS (computerised maintenance management system) is a must.

Responsibilities:

· Work autonomously to deliver defined objectives and proactively seek out improvements.

· Offer opinions to business process improvements .

· Interact with clients and suppliers directly, forging strong business relationships.

· Ensure cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) is applied in all activities undertaken to ensure regulatory compliance.

· Ownership of the upkeep of the departments administrative duties (incl all CMMS tasks, departmental reporting and KPI planning)

· Interaction with technical software such as the CMMS system, SAP, purchase ordering tools and Global Trackwise amongst others

· Ensure best practice approaches are always sought to future proof any applied solutions.

· Demonstrating role model behavior in line with the Thermofisher 4i values.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications/Experience:

· Experience in an administrative type role within an engineering or practical environment.

· Ability to self-manage with demonstrable structured planning skills.

· Able to demonstrate ability to multi task and prioritise within a changing environment.

· Experience critiquing documentation templates for best practice improvements.

· Experience in writing technical documents (reports, exec summaries, etc)
