Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to partner with premium publishers to ensure successful technical integration, adoption, and ongoing performance of our monetization and programmatic solutions. You’ll act as the technical owner of publisher relationships, leading onboarding, troubleshooting, optimization, and product enablement—while collaborating closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations.
This is a hybrid role combining technical depth + client leadership, ideal for someone who can translate complex ad tech concepts into clear actions and measurable outcomes for publisher partners.
Engage directly with publishers, partners, and internal stakeholders to provide pre- and post-sales technical advisory across Web, In-App, and CTV monetization.
Deliver an outstanding customer experience by setting expectations, owning technical execution, and anticipating and resolving partner issues quickly and clearly.
Use deep technical understanding of InMobi Exchange products to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across bid delivery, latency/timeouts, no-fill, discrepancies, creative/rendering problems, and reporting variance.
Act as the internal liaison between Regional CSM/Sales and Product/Engineering/Exchange Ops—driving alignment, managing communication, and owning outcomes.
Manage publisher product deployments and upgrades end-to-end across internal and external stakeholders, including integration planning, technical requirements, launch checklists, partner testing, and go-live readiness.
Lead and support technical onboarding and integrations, including (as applicable):
InMobi SDK (iOS/Android), implementation guidance, diagnostics/log capture, upgrade best practices
Prebid.js / Prebid Server implementations (wrappers, adapters, auction configuration, timeouts, debugging)
OpenRTB supply integrations and validation of requests/signals
CTV integrations including VAST troubleshooting, ad pod behavior, and measurement considerations
Own escalations and incident management: triage → mitigation → root cause analysis → resolution → postmortems and prevention, partnering closely with Engineering and Ops.
Drive ongoing optimization to improve monetization and technical health metrics such as bid rate, win rate, fill rate, eCPM, match rate, and latency, while balancing user experience and policy requirements.
Proactively monitor partner health, identify risks early (integration regressions, supply quality concerns, policy/compliance impacts), and implement preventative measures.
Identify, evaluate, and communicate key market and customer requirements from the field to Product/Engineering teams; translate partner feedback into clear technical requirements and prioritized action plans.
Stay current on ad tech best practices and standards, including privacy/consent changes that impact monetization (e.g., GDPR/TCF, US privacy signals, cookie deprecation implications).
Build repeatable processes and documentation: integration guides, troubleshooting playbooks, launch templates, and internal enablement to scale support in a high-growth environment.
Publisher / advertising technology experience is required (e.g., working with publishers, SSPs/exchanges, header bidding, ad serving, or monetization platforms).
Strong understanding of programmatic fundamentals and publisher monetization workflows, including auction mechanics and key supply-side metrics.
Hands-on technical troubleshooting skills—comfortable working with:
Logs and event flows, partner debug artifacts, and platform diagnostics
Charles / Chrome DevTools / HAR files and network-level investigation for web delivery issues
OpenRTB payloads (reading/validating requests, signals, and common failure modes)
Experience working with and understanding the usage of APIs (REST), including request/response troubleshooting.
Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries for investigations and analysis.
Familiarity with publisher integrations across one or more of the following (strong plus):
Prebid.js / Prebid Server (wrappers, adapters, timeouts, floors, debugging)
Mobile app monetization (iOS/Android SDK integrations; mediation concepts)
CTV ecosystem basics (VAST, ad pods, SSAI vs client-side considerations)
Ad server workflows (e.g., Google Ad Manager) and trafficking concepts
Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for Publishers, Ad Ops, engineering, product, and revenue stakeholders.
Strong ownership, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership—able to drive multiple workstreams across UK/NA time zones and thrive in ambiguity.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering (helpful but not required).
