What is the opportunity?

This position is responsible for quality leadership & direction to the Manitoba Cash Service Centre.   Reporting to the Senior Manager Cash Services (offsite).  You would provide support for various day to day functions of a fast paced, performance driven Operations Centre.   Ensuring accuracy & efficiency to ensure Service Level agreements are met.  Accountable for the Centre's goals & strategic objectives.  Main Point of contact for the Senior Manager, to ensure that the team are engaged & performing at a high level whilst maintaining client service agreements.

**Please note: Operational Hours for this Centre are 6:00am - 5:00pm - must be available during these hours

What will you do?

  • Point of contact for clients (branches & external clients) and escalations from partners (Armoured Cars, Bank of Canada, NCR and Cash Services National Office).
  • Manages Centre responsibility for risk/compliance (i.e: Access Manager, DOA, Unit Administration Regulatory Guide & UFC, AML, Privacy, Fraud, Business Continuity Planning
  • and testing, Expenses, Custody, Internal Audit & Audit reviews)
  • Takes ownership of escalated client/service partner issues as a priority ensuring resolution at source. Works with the team to complete cause and affect analysis ensuring gaps are actioned, implemented and closed.
  • Keeps up to date on all communications including changes to RBC & Cash Services PPL. Ensures timely communication & implementation to staff with check for understanding.
  • Champions coaching routines, weekly check ins, career discussions, learning time. Meetings & communications to staff.
  • Primary onsite contact for day to day operation and after hours alarm response protocols. We are an essential business partner, that may require after hours call out. Premise liaison between Landlord & RBC to ensure building maintenance is executed (this is sometimes required after hours).
  • Lead my example. Be an advocate of change & support the team with driving change for the benefit of the business
  • Be willing to be "hands on" when needed, we are responsible for shipping & receiving parcels that can be physically taxing - we stand or sit for long periods of time. Our business has hard deadlines to be met daily to avoid client impact & delays.
