What You’ll Do
In this dynamic role, you’ll use your business analyst skillset to lead the planning, enhancement, and operation of our financial systems, ensuring they’re robust, compliant, and future-ready. You’ll work closely with the Information and Digital Services team to drive innovation and improve workflows across the University.
Your key responsibilities include:
Finance Systems Planning
Managing changes and improvements to, and maintenance of the University’s Financial Systems:
Serving as the primary contact for finance system-related inquiries, issue resolution and training
Collaboration with IDS Division to deliver impactful outcomes
Stakeholder engagement and people management

About You
You’re a confident communicator and strategic thinker, with the ability to lead projects, perform as a business analyst and coach others. You bring a strong customer focus, analytical mindset, and a passion for improving processes.
You’ll also bring:
Professional qualifications (CPA, CA, CIA, CISA or equivalent)
Highly developed analytical and business process improvement skills Expertise in project/change management, audit, and governance
A commitment to continuous learning and development
Experience with TechnologyOne Financial software (highly desirable)
About Finance and Procurement Services
Finance and Procurement Services assist the University to achieve its goals by providing quality leadership, information, and financial services.
The Finance and Procurement Services team undertakes monthly financial management reporting and forecasting, annual budgets and monitoring performance against these budgets, all regulatory financial reporting, monthly compliance, procurement contracting and functional areas of paying suppliers, receipting revenue and annual financial statements. While this role is based at Bedford Park, we have team members located across all of Flinders sites.
