Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering IT services that meet or exceed agreed service levels (SLAs) to ensure service excellence.
- Streamlining processes to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency and proactively detect and resolve issues before they affect end users to optimize the IT operations.
- Handle incidents effectively to minimize business impact and ensure that IT services directly support the organization’s business needs and goals.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback for the improvement and ensure services meet expectations. This includes maintaining transparent communication regarding service performance, issues, and improvements
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery through automation, updated processes, or innovative tools. Conducting regular reviews and implementing lessons learned to enhance future performance focusing on providing proactive, efficient, effective and prompt IT services.
- Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID and domain services: user groups, organization units, GPOs, etc.
- Design and deploy Azure infrastructure: Virtual machines, storage, networking, AVD.
- Microsoft Office 365 environment: Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint etc.
- databases.
- Cloud migration: Plan and execute lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or refactoring strategies.
- Security and compliance: Implement Azure security controls and ensure compliance with standards like HIPAA, GDPR.
- Monitoring and optimization: Use tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
- Automation: Script deployments and configurations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (DevOps, security, networking) to align cloud solutions with business needs.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain technology systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the systems and infrastructure availability.
- Adhere to implemented backup and redundancy strategies.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Provide L1 & L2 technical support via remote troubleshooting for system’s & application issues.
- Closure of tickets in timely manner as per SLA.
- Liaise with superiors & team personnels for quick problem resolution.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
- Recommended certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Technical Skills:
- Azure Services: Compute, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, Azure Policy, ARM templates.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash.
- Security: Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Security Center, Cloud Firewall.
- Networking: VNet, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, NSGs, DNS.
Soft Skills:
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Communication and documentation
- Ability to work independently and in teams
Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Azure in production environments.
- Exposure to hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud environments is a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience azure or relevant field.
