[What the role is]

The Singapore Sustainable Aviation Fuel Company (SAFCo) is a mission-driven entity supporting Singapore’s national SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) policy. SAFCo manages SAF levy collection, procures SAF to meet regulated demand, and develops the voluntary SAF market. As a lean and agile startup, SAFCo is building foundational capabilities to ensure operational excellence, transparency, and credibility in the SAF ecosystem.

Role overview
The Senior Supply & Sales Operations Manager will work closely with the Director of Business Development on post-sales operations and the Director of Procurement on post-deal operations. This role ensures seamless execution after contracts are signed — from coordinating counterparties for timely cargo delivery and payment, to managing customer and partner interactions on post-sales execution. It is ideal for an experienced operator who thrives in a dynamic start-up environment and can bridge supply reliability with commercial success.

[What you will be working on]

Supply Operations (Post-Deal)

  • Collaborate with the Director of Procurement to manage counterparties and ensure timely delivery of SAF cargos.

  • Oversee operational execution of supply agreements, including scheduling, logistics, and compliance.

  • Monitor and resolve delivery issues, ensuring counterparties meet contractual obligations.

  • Coordinate with finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payment flows linked to supply contracts.

Sales Operations (Post-Sales)

  • Partner with the Director of Business Development to manage execution of sales agreements.

  • Work with airlines, corporate buyers, and other stakeholders on Environmental Attribute (EA) post-sales operations.

  • Ensure smooth customer onboarding, order fulfilment, and reporting of SAF usage and EA allocations.

  • Provide operational insights to support customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Cross-Functional Support & Capability Building

  • Act as the operational bridge between supply and sales functions, ensuring alignment across teams.

  • Work closely with sustainability, finance, and legal teams within SAFCo and CAAS to ensure procurement strategies are operationally executable and aligned with SAFCo’s mission.

  • Participate in monthly and quarterly supplier meetings to review fuel pricing, delivery performance, and reconciliation issues.

  • Support risk management, compliance, and business continuity planning.

  • Contribute to process improvements and system development to enhance SAFCo’s operational agility.

  • Engage with external stakeholders to strengthen SAFCo’s credibility and transparency in the SAF ecosystem.

Tender Operations & Management

  • Support the setup and implementation of procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle or esourcing tools), ensuring system integrity, user access control, and audit readiness.

  • Support the execution the end-to-end tender lifecycle for SAF procurement, including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, bid evaluations, contract finalization and post-award management.

  • Provide support on maintenance of procurement dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs such as supplier performance, contract milestones, fuel volumes and pricing benchmarks

  • Ensure accurate input and reconciliation of fuel prices in procurement systems, including monthly invoicing, rolling buffers, and despite resolution with vendors.

[What we are looking for]

  • 8–12 years in supply chain, operations, or sales operations, ideally within energy, aviation, or related industries.

  • Proven experience managing counterparties and executing complex post-deal/post-sales operations.

  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Familiarity with regulated industries and contractual execution frameworks.

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

  • Comfortable multi-hatting in a lean, fast-paced start-up environment.
