Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA

Role Overview

The Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager leads a multi‑site warehousing and distribution network across North America, driving safe, scalable, and performance‑driven operations. This role has end‑to‑end responsibility for inventory management, procurement, value‑added services, and order fulfillment—ensuring the organization delivers exceptional service while meeting cost, quality, and compliance standards.

This leader partners closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Deployment, and Commercial teams to optimize inventory positioning, improve profitability, and support business growth. Success in this role requires a strong people leader with operational discipline, data‑driven decision‑making, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of site leaders responsible for warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement, quality, and value‑added services.
  • Ensure efficient execution of receiving, storage, kitting/configuration, value‑add services, and fulfillment of hardware and service‑parts orders.
  • Drive operational excellence across all sites through standardized processes, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define, track, and improve KPIs related to safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, cost, and service levels.
  • Identify and lead safety, process, and cost‑reduction initiatives to improve performance and profitability.
  • Leverage data and root‑cause analysis to proactively address operational gaps.

Inventory & Supply Chain Collaboration

  • Partner with supply planning, deployment, and procurement teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while meeting customer demand and cost targets.
  • Ensure effective asset and inventory controls across locations, minimizing obsolescence and shrink.
  • Support network planning and scalability as the business grows.

Financial & Compliance Management

  • Own operating budgets, forecasting, staffing plans, and expense control for regional warehouse operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards governing personnel, equipment, and facilities.
  • Champion a strong safety culture across all locations.

People & Culture

  • Build high‑performing teams through effective hiring, onboarding, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Develop and execute employee engagement, performance management, and talent development strategies.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive work environment that promotes accountability and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in warehouse, distribution, or supply chain leadership will be considered
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, including direct people management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high‑performing teams in a multi‑site or fast‑paced operational environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage frontline employees, site leaders, and senior stakeholders
  • Proven problem‑solver with the ability to analyze complex operational processes and lead teams through sustainable solutions
  • Experience using ERP or warehouse management systems; Oracle experience a plus
