Senior Supply Chain Manager - Raw Materials/Special Processes

This role will manage and lead a team of functional specialists to achieve world class supplier performance and relationships. The SSCM will seek to continuously improve and deliver integrated supplier performance across quality, cost and delivery for their commodities / business area, working across both internal and external functions and stakeholders to act as a single supplier focal point to deliver the business requirements. They will act as the escalation point for the SME on all aspects of supplier management.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Responsible for the effective operational supplier relationship management through an appropriate and effective engagement framework, including leadership of Supplier Business Reviews. Lead the overall supplier relationship management across defined suppliers / commodities as designated by the VP Supplier Management. Build and maintain effective relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to the Supplier Management function in order to integrate priorities to deliver the business’ results
Supplier Performance Development: Lead a team of functional specialists to achieve continuous improvement in supplier Quality, Delivery and Cost performance. performance targets and supplier maturity by working with the relevant functions. Engage with their functional team leaders across quality, manufacturing, delivery, program management and cost to plan and allocate resources to deliver the supplier improvement and development plans. Support the development of suppliers as required by the business to execute future business requirements from sourcing campaigns, transfers or new product introduction
Cost Management: Ensure suppliers are operationally delivering to their contracted commitments, working with the Strategic Procurement team to take appropriate contractual remedies and measures to ensure delivery of business results. Deliver and extract value and operational cost commitments in line with the supplier contract. Define and lead short/medium term cost improvement plans with designated suppliers and integrate across the required functions to deliver the plan
Strategy: Support the development and deployment of relevant integrated commodity/ category/ supplier strategies and will provide inputs based on supply chain operational performance. Lead in the execution of the supplier strategy for their given commodity / supplier groups
Risk Management: Lead the deployment of risk management practices to assess, communicate and mitigate supply chain risks
Supplier Management operating system: Lead the team's compliance to relevant operating processes and governance (RRPS). Responsible for continuous improvement of the operating system
Supplier Code of Conduct: Responsible for understanding supplier obligations contained in the Global Supplier Code of Conduct and addressing any supplier compliance concerns through direct action or escalation. Responsible for ensuring that supplier compliance to the Global Supplier Code of Conduct is maintained

Who we’re looking for
BA degree or equivalent or significant industry experience
LEAN, DMAIC process, practical problem solving knowledge
Purchasing and supply chain management experience
Understands manufacturing processes and cost drivers (as required)
Global outlook and exposure to different challenges, cultures and ways of working
Has a proven track record of delivering results
Experience in Leading Change, Commercial Acumen, Supplier Performance management, Business Case Development, Supplier Relationship Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Influencing Others, Business Case Development, Procurement Practices, Systems, Category Management, Sustainability & Data Analysis
