We are seeking a motivated Software Section Leader to join the Software Team within the Battle Management Systems Software Department. As a Section Leader, you will be responsible for the oversight of software personnel to meet program needs. The ideal candidate is a well-disciplined individual with a proven applicable technical background, who is able to thrive in a dynamic agile environment and is able to work well in a team setting.
This position will be 100% on site in Ft. Wayne, IN.
What You Will Do
Ensure that each employee has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and advancement
Contribute to the technical oversight of employees in support of their daily work assignments

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Experience with complex systems.
Experience with software development techniques and tools, including some, or all, of the following computer languages: C/C++, Java, or Ada.
Experience with design, code, integration, and test of large systems.
Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Interim Secret issued security clearance is required on day 1. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Master’s degree in STEM and 3 years of experience.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements.
Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems.
Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible.
Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Red Hat and Linux Operating Systems.
Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles.
Strong communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
Customer focus and collaboration skills.
Effective presence and influential leadership capability, with the ability to interact with leadership effectively – including customer, Raytheon Technologies teammates and suppliers.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
