The Role: Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing
The Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing assembly line operations, managing a team of Line Leaders and Operators. This role ensures smooth production flow, supervises cleanroom activities, and drives operational efficiency through sound judgment and effective decision-making.
What You’ll Do:
1. Lead and manage Line Leaders, including training, performance reviews, discipline, and motivation to achieve targets and comply with procedures.
2. Ensure all cleanroom equipment meets output, capability, and maintenance standards.
3. Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure all produced parts meet quality requirements.
4. Coordinate with Maintenance and Facilities teams to keep equipment and cleanroom facilities in optimal working condition.
5. Work closely with Production Planning to schedule jobs and ensure proper product lineup for the incoming shift.
6. Foster teamwork by resolving conflicts among shift personnel before they escalate.
7. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, leading by example through actions and communication.
8. Comply with all safety protocols, including wearing required protective equipment.
9. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
10. Complete daily supervisor checklists accurately and on time.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
What We Seek:
1. Degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, OR Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
2. Hands-on experience in assembly and manufacturing operations.
3. Proficiency in SAP and strong computer skills.
4. Solid knowledge of production line management.
5. Familiarity with cleanroom operations is an advantage.
6. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen practices is highly desirable
