This exciting opportunity of a full-time role based in Sydney will allow you to collaborate with the local team as well as learn from our incredible global network. You will manage and drive our strategy expertise and be someone who is familiar with the Australian landscape.
If you have been living in the depths of social trends and across the digital space for five plus years we could be a great fit.
Here’s where you come in.
- Build the bridge between brands and consumers
- Implementation knowledge of end-to-end customer experience strategies, including customer research, auditing, understanding consumer behaviours, being across trends (macro and micro) and ability to pull this into a cohesive strategy built on a clear narrative
- Bring the consumer’s world to life for creative teams and clients using qualitative and cultural mining and insightful synthesis of quantitative research to inform a strategic approach.
- Develop distinct and differentiated audience segmentations that are connected to strategic decisions and creative ways-in
- Keen sense of developing strategy solutions, from brand strategy, down to tactical social, content, tone of voice documents and influencer strategies
- Out-of-the-box perspective on data and research to find interesting consumer insights that we can leverage as opportunities, not just reflections
- Support teams to craft social content, outreach, caption banks, and trendjacking posts with ease
- Well versed with the ability to leverage VaynerMedia tools, research and platforms to: perform content audits, collaborate with the media team to provide holistic success measurement frameworks
- Deck crafter - someone that can detail out ideas and insights that are clear and can sell!
- Ample experience in agency life and content creation to fully grasp the technical aspects of creating content as well as understanding the digital consumer journey and how to engage through a digital architecture map for end-to-end campaigns
- Deep understanding of brand and marketing fundamentals
- Be a vocal and inventive champion with the ability to break down complex tasks and create clarity from complexity
Here’s the “Nice To Have” Can?
- Have 5+ years as a strategist in a creative advertising agency, with at least 2 years specifically in the Australian market.
- Are a self-starter who delivers work independently with pace, energy, and drive.
- Love to lead collaborative sessions with clients and internal teams.
- Are a master of managing multiple timelines and competing deadlines without breaking a sweat.
- Are always on the lookout for new ideas and ways to innovate.
