JOB DUTIES:
Architect, design and develop system software for reliable, scalable, high performing network and storage systems using C/C++.
Develop new features and enhance existing features for Data-plane/Fast-path software Toolkits by designing data structures and algorithms tailored for Marvell MIPS/ARM based CPU, coprocessors and hardware-based accelerators.
Integrate open-source/customer software with Data-plane/Fast-path Toolkits to deliver software solutions to customer products. Develop Crypto and IPsec security software (protocol and applications) optimized for Marvell Crypto/IPsec Accelerators.
Develop software and troubleshoot issues related to hardware bring-up, multi-threaded software development with virtualized hardware.
Analyze and investigate methods to enhance software performance on Marvell SoC by eliminating bottle-necks using existing hardware and simulators and suggest future hardware/software design improvements.
Work with Technical Marketing engineers (TME), product managers and cross functional hardware/software engineers to understand and solve customer issues.
Plan, schedule, estimate efforts for projects and provide technical guidance to junior engineers during execution.
Work on ARM based storage/Networking products, design and develop firmware and software for networking products
What We're Looking For
REQUIREMENTS:
BS / MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5-10 years of related professional experience with:
- Networking, Telecom systems.
- DPDK, VPP other dataplane protocols
- C/C++
- Linux Kernel Network/ethernet device Driver Development
- ARM based CPU's
- Crypto / IPSec Accelerators
- PCIE protocol familiarity
