Your New Role:  

The Sr. Staff, AdTech Full Stack Engineer reports to the Director, AdTech Engineering and is responsible for designing full-stack applications that support thousands of users and billions of ad impressions monthly. This role defines engineering best practices, mentors peers, and ensures mission-critical platforms are reliable, performant, and cloud-optimized for scale. 

Your Role Accountabilities: 

Scalable APIs & Services – Design and deliver API-first, cloud-native services that enable real-time interoperability across WBD’s advertising stack, handling billions of impressions annually. 

Platform Modernization – Modernize legacy advertising tools into modular, full-stack cloud-native applications with 99.99% reliability, optimized costs, and seamless integration with converged platforms 

User Experience & Advertiser Tools – Deliver intuitive, responsive, and high-performance UIs that enhance productivity and decision-making for sales teams, directly improving the efficiency of multi-billion-dollar ad sales transactions. 

Delivery excellence  Drive scalable, resilient, and high-performing engineering systems through deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automated testing frameworks, observability tooling, and performance optimization, enabling faster delivery cycles and improved system reliability. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline. 

  Full-Stack Expertise: 12+ years of experience in enterprise-scale full-stack engineering, with expertise in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies (Java, Node.js, Python, Go). 

  Cloud & APIs: Strong knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices, and API-first design. 

  AdTech Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with campaign management, ad trafficking, forecasting, identity, and yield optimization workflows. 

  User-Centric Design: Track record of building user-friendly, high-performance interfaces tied to complex data and monetization workflows. 

  Operational Excellence: Proficiency in CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, observability, and performance optimization. 

  Collaboration & Communication: Ability to partner with product, sales engineering, and data teams to deliver revenue-focused solutions.
