NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. Today, we are harnessing the power of AI to define the next era of computing—where GPUs serve as the engines behind data centers, robotics, and autonomous systems. At NVIDIA, you’ll work alongside world-class talent in a collaborative, inclusive environment, solving problems that push the boundaries of what’s possible. The Silicon Solutions Group (SSG) is a highly cross-functional co-design team operating at the intersection of architecture, design, productization, operations, and marketing. We drive solutions from early architectural definition through final product delivery, supporting markets including datacenter, gaming, robotics, automotive, and embedded systems. SSG is a fast-paced, collaborative, and focused organization dedicated to delivering impactful, industry-defining products.
We are looking for a dynamic SRAM System Design Engineer who will lead the end-to-end system/product SRAM charter and define next-gen products. In this role, the engineer will work with company experts from Operations, ATG, Timing, SW, Circuit, and Design to deliver best-in-class SRAM designs, solutions, and specifications for all NVIDIA products. The successful candidate will have knowledge of SRAM operation, bitcell and timing concepts, translation from timing to system to product, manufacturing techniques, and perf/power/reliability trade-offs. This is a highly visible, multi-functional role to produce outstanding products that are shipping at SOL and meeting the high NVIDIA quality that we demand and customers expect.
What you will be doing:
Develop and innovate system designs for SRAMs, achieving SOL performance, power, VMIN, yield, and VF specifications.
Analyze next-generation design for reliability and speed behavior, build modeling techniques, and make product optimizations.
Drive initiatives across multiple teams to derive best-in-class speed and reliability.
Build pre- and post-silicon methodologies to characterize silicon features, correlate silicon behavior with simulations, and provide design feedback.
Find creative solutions to complex silicon and system-level problems and be on the frontline to lead show-stopper bugs, in order to enable product shipment.
What we need to see:
MS in EE, CE, Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in a related hardware engineering position.
Expertise in SRAM design, timing, and behavior at the product level. Knowledgeable on screening techniques, esp at ATE and correlation to the actual system.
Exposure to critical path analysis, speed path debug, process and transistor modeling, silicon reliability, and aging mechanisms.
Familiarity with broad system design across multiple areas is desirable.
Some familiarity with Python is a plus. Familiarity with Windows and Linux.
