Job Summary

The Senior Specialist, Time Processing ensures accurate and timely processing of timecard data for pay and billing across multiple systems. This role is critical in meeting service-level agreements (SLAs), resolving unbilled revenue issues, and supporting all business lines in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Location: Dallas or San Diego - Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

Job Responsibilities

  • Welcomes new facility clients to establish point-of-contact and facilitate the onboarding process to educate on AMN Business Services processes (billing, payroll, customer support, etc.).
  • Delivers AMN’s Service to clients and internal customers, to negotiate or discuss complex issues.
  • Interpret and input timecard data into multiple systems for payroll and billing within strict deadlines.
  • Monitor and resolve unbilled revenue issues; research discrepancies such as timecard fraud and implement resolutions.
  • Manage Salesforce cases and participate in implementation and client meetings to ensure smooth onboarding and process alignment.
  • Communicate daily with facility clients to confirm hours worked and expedite payroll/billing processes, including verbal timecards.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for critical business needs and ensure timely resolution of cases with root cause analysis.
  • Maintain accurate, high-efficiency account management and take ownership of complex client accounts.
  • Support department through volume management and special projects; assist in training new team members.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance customer experience and revenue capture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain strong internal partnerships to meet SLAs and organizational goals.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Salesforce, ShiftWise, Medefis, Fieldglass, and other VMS platforms | Preferred 
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
  • Problem-solving and adaptability in high-pressure environments
  • Ability to work independently and escalate when necessary
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, ‘go-getter’ mindset

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree plus 5–7 years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7–9 years of experience
  • Data entry and accuracy in high-volume environments
  • Customer service experience with strong relationship-building skills

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
  • Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

    Pay Rate

    $24.75 - $29.25 Hourly

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
